Welcome to the Online Youth Centre (Discord)

If you can’t make it to a physical youth club, if you prefer chatting online, or you simply want MORE youth club in your life - check out our online community on Discord!

Our server is a fun, safe space, where you can be your authentic self. Whether you come to meet up with friends or make new ones, there’ll also be youth workers online to help with information, support and to help you achieve your goals. There are also volunteering opportunities, both as a moderator for the server and as part of our Twitch streams.During our sessions you can pop in for a chat, but we also play a lot of games and we even have our own Minecraft Java server you can join! There is a gallery to share your creativity, a meme channel (of course!), music making workshops, a monthly Dungeons and Dragons game and loads more to join in with!

Our Sessions

All our sessions are FREE to attend, so just sign up online to become a member of the Online Youth Centre. All young people need to fill in the form linked to ‘become a member’, a youth worker will then be in touch on Discord (or another contact method) for a short video call to confirm you are a young person and a quick ‘tour’. You will then be free to come to sessions as you please.

Our Sessions

Monday, Thursday & Friday from 6 - 8:30pm
13 to 19 years old
All our sessions are open to everyone from age 13-19. You can hop in to text and/or voice chat to catch up with friends, or make new ones! There’s almost always games being played or activities going on, from art to Minecraft and everything in between! Staff are always on hand in this safe space to help you find out about wellbeing, relationships, employment, and other topics that matter to you.
Minecraft Server

Open weekdays from 3 - 9pm for members of the Online YC
Our Minecraft Server is open from 3 - 9 pm for all our members to join. We play Java and use unmodded Vanilla survival mode most of the time.
If you are already a member of the centre, you can DM a staff member your Minecraft username to gain access, as we use a whitelist to keep the server safe.

Senior Youth Support Worker
Hello! I’m Jones and I’m a Senior Digital Youth Support worker. You can find me on Thursday and Friday nights chilling out on the Discord playing games and having a laugh! I’m a big fan of most things in the nerd department and if you ever want to chat about your favourite films I'm your person. ;)

Senior Youth Support Worker In Charge
Hey there I’m Matt I have been a youth worker for ages. I used to work in our youth centres in Newton Abbot and Exmouth but I now work for our Online Youth Work team and I am a senior youth support worker in charge. I am really into music, particularly punk rock and am into gaming and hiking on Dartmoor. I work on our Discord sessions however you may see me out and about in the wild at one of our youth centres doing project work. I am really big on hearing youth voices and am always keen to hear ideas about how we can do things better so please get in touch if you have any ideas.

Hi! I’m Ellie and I’m the Server Admin - Here 3 nights a week to help you with any Discord tech support. If you’d like a new emoji added to the server, I’m your guy :D In my spare time I enjoy online gaming, knitting, cooking, gardening, and you can always tag me in cat gifs - they’re too cute!
