Maddie and Amelia’s Journey

Why are you fundraising for Space Youth Services?

With the rising cost of living and so many other challenges facing our community, the need for support for our local charities has never been greater. Space Youth Services is a charity that is close to our heart and we're excited to be doing something fun and active to raise money for them!

Space supports young people from all backgrounds to learn, create and realise their potential by providing a safe space to hang out with mates, talk about things you can’t ask your parents, gain confidence and try new things. They deliver youth work, community projects, and other services to ensure that young people have the opportunity to succeed in Devon. With 8 open access youth centres providing a wide range of activities for 11-19 year olds, street-based youth work, online youth club sessions, 1-to-1 support, SEND sessions, and through their school, Chances, they provide short-term alternative education provision for students who are struggling in mainstream school.

How are you fundraising for Space?

We are taking on Exeters Inflatable 5K, one of the world’s biggest! It's not quite a marathon, but it's a good start for two people who haven't run since school... We're so grateful for any support you give us!

Can you help them reach their target?

On Saturday, 27th April, Maddie and Amelia will be taking on their inflatable 5K challenge at West Point Arena! In the lead up they are aiming to raise:

£200

If you can support them please donate to their Just Giving Page to raise unrestricted funds for Space Youth Services.
