Chances School
Chances is a registered independent school providing specialist alternative education for young people who are experiencing difficulties in mainstream education.
We provide a supportive, structured environment where students can rebuild their confidence, develop positive relationships with education and make progress towards a successful future. Our experienced teachers and skilled youth workers work closely with each young person, their family and their mainstream school to understand their individual needs and provide the right support.
For many of our students, their time at Chances is temporary. We work alongside their mainstream school to help them develop the confidence, skills and resilience they need to successfully return to mainstream education. We also provide targeted support for young people experiencing barriers such as emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA).
